Lock-Tight Denture

What Is the Lock Tight Denture?

The Lock-Tight Denture consists of a premium, internally reinforced denture retained by IMTEC Mini Dental Implants(MDI's).

The head of the titanium, Mini Implant is shaped like a ball and the retaining fixture acts like a socket that contains a rubber O-ring. The O-ring snaps over the ball when the denture is seated and holds the denture at a predetermined level of force.

When seated, the denture gently rests on the gum tissue. Ultimately, the Lock-Tight Denture resists natural lifting forces and provides superior denture stabilization.

How can the Lock-Tight Denture help denture-wearers?

There are nearly 500,000 people in the United States who struggle with dentures.

Loose dentures can be frustrating, painful, and embarrassing. As a result, many denture-wearers simply retreat from social settings.

The Lock-Tight Denture stabilizes the lower denture and solves social and practical problems associated with loose dentures.

How does the Lock-Tight Denture work?

Four Mini Dental Implants are gently screwed into the front of a patient's lower jaw. This is a relatively painless procedure and requires only a mild anesthesia. The implants, which are approximately the size of wooden toothpicks, are placed about five millimeters apart in the patient's mandible. The lower denture is then carefully adjusted to allow it to snap onto the four Mini Implants.

The result? A Lock-Tight fit and a completely reliable denture that allows the patient to speak and eat with confidence.

How long does the procedure take?

The Lock-Tight Denture is placed in about one hour. Because of the unique, minimally invasive procedure, the minute size of the implants, and the characteristic placement area, the typical patient can enjoy a light meal an hour or so after having the mini implants placed.

How much does the Lock-Tight Denture cost?

The Lock-Tight Denture is very affordable.

The typical cost varies from patient to patient. Generally, a premium, upper denture and lower Lock-Tight Denture with 4 Mini-Implant retainters costs less than $6000! However, if the patient already has a working denture, the cost will be much less.
