Dr. Cohen is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Detroit District Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Carl O. Boucher Prosthodontic Society, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He specializes in cosmetic dentistry, periodontal prosthesis, and sedation dentistry.

For more than 15 years, Dr. Cohen has volunteered his time and services to promote dental health awareness among children and senior citizens. To date, his Children's Dental Health Awareness Month programs have reached over 20,000 children. Dr. Cohen also participates in the Senior Health Fair each year.
