Stuart Felhandler, DDS
Dr. Stuart Felhandler was born and raised in Detroit. He attended the University of Detroit for his undergraduate studies and went on to graduate from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 1967. He then served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service at the Federal Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas where he worked as a dentist. Dr. Felhandler was later asked to join Dr. Jerome Kurtis in the practice of General Dentistry in Detroit.
Dr. Felhandler is a 35-year member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Detroit District Dental Society, and has attended hundreds of hours of continued education seminars, many of which have focused on Cosmetic Dentistry. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in Children's Dental Healthcare and Root Canal Therapy.
Dr. Felhandler has 3 children and has been married to his wife, Marcia, for 40 years. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, is an avid sports fan, and a Detroit Pistons fanatic. Dr. Felhandler also likes to golf and has a unique appreciation for the beauty and serenity of golf courses.
